EIE UNY Dual Degree Students Conduct Dialogue with Menristekdikti through Video Conferences

"Hopefully, what you get from Taiwan can be applied in Indonesia, especially in the development and implementation of e-learning."Said Minister of Higher Education Mohamad Nasir to dual degree students of UNY - NCU Taiwan via video conference on the  event entitled "The Inauguration of the Islamic Development Bank Building" on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Through video conferencing, the minister was also involved in interactive dialogue with dual students. degree UNY - NCU Taiwan represented by Muhammad Irfan Luthfi (EIE), Cinthya Indrastyawati and Ayu Nuswantari (S2) discussed the implementation of e-learning in Taiwan, especially at National Central University. In this dialogue, the three students explained that the implementation of e-learning at National Central University is 100% and has become an inseparable part of teaching and learning activities. After conducting a short dialogue, Minister closed the conversation with the hope that all double degree students can apply what they obtain during their study in Taiwan.

Currently, UNY is actively establishing overseas cooperation, one of which is through the dual degree program with several campuses abroad. This overseas cooperation is carried out in order to achieve UNY's vision as a world class university. One of UNY's dual degree programs is with National Central University Taiwan. This dual degree program was attended by four students and two of them were students of the EIE programme. The two EIE students were Muhammad Irfan Luthfi (2017) and Rio Nurtantyana (2017). The two EIE students underwent two semesters at UNY and two semesters at NCU with a credit transfer system. At the end of the program, the students will get a double degree from both NCU and UNY.
