HISTORY AND PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The background of the opening of the Electronics and Informatics Education is the need for master in Electronics and Informatics Education fields. The story of Electronics and Informatics Education began with the Graduate School of Technology and Vocational Education which opened a program of Electronic Engineering Education and Informatics Engineering Education in 2011. After 4 (four) years, interest in this concentration was increased. In response, finally, the Electronics and Informatics Education Graduate School was established under Indonesian Higher Education Directorate General Decree No. 360/E/O/2014 on 27 August 2014.

This department began in operation in 2014 under the Operational Permit Decree Number 865/UN34/KP/2014 dated November 3, 2014. Based on this decree, in 2015 the Electronics and Informatics Education began accepting new students. The first class consisted of 24 students who came from various places in Indonesia. Currently, the Electronics and Informatics Education has "B" Level accreditation under Higher Education National Accreditation Committee Decree Number 3303/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/XII/2016.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
produce graduates who can play the role as a Teacher, Researcher, and Project Manager, who are able to compete nationally and internationally, which can be described as follow:
  1. Having capability to manage educational institutions, research projects, and business in the Electronics and Informatics engineering field  or other related industries/organizations.
  2. Capable to continuously develop the concepts of education, research, and development in the fields of Electronics Engineering and Information Technology for the benefit of education, teaching, and application of science and technology.
  3. Demonstrate high-level professionalism, ethical and social responsibility, and independent learning with a lifelong learning attitude through graduate studies, research, and professional activities, both nationally and internationally.
  4. Capable to implement their ideas orally and written, which impact society in accordance with the relevant fields.
